Biography

Lance Dubsky, CISSP, CISM, is the founder of Cyber Oak Solutions LLC. He has served in numerous IT and Security leadership positions in the public and private sector.  Most recently he served as VP, IT Security Technology, at Iron Mountain in Boston, responsible for optimizing the security stack and remediating program gaps.  Prior to Iron Mountain, Lance served as the VP/CISO at Meggitt PLC, a British aerospace/engineering company based in Bournemouth, UK.  At Meggitt Lance was responsible for the overall security program and implementing a security program for its Government business to meet DFARS compliance.  In 2015, Lance was recruited by FireEye and served as the Chief Security Strategist working with customers on security requirements and the value proposition of FireEye products and services. He has over two decades of experience planning, building and implementing information security programs for public and private sector organizations. Lance drove transformations in risk management, security engineering, space security assurance and security operations. Earlier in his career, he worked as a consultant to Federal Sector CISOs.  He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He holds a B.S. in Information Systems from the University of Maryland and a M.A. from Creighton University in International Relations, post graduate work in Information Security at George Washington University.
